The objectives of my postdoctoral research within LEPSIS are 1) to identify academic motivation profiles in a sample of Quebec and Belgian adolescents, 2) to examine the stability of the profiles over time, 3) to identify family, friendship and psychosocial factors influencing motivation, and 4) to highlight the differences and similarities between the two samples in terms of motivation profiles and associated correlates. More broadly, I am also interested in sexual diversity, the challenges that sexual minority individuals face in different spheres throughout their lives, and the factors that promote their development and fulfillment.
