On April 30th 2019, Fonds de recherche du Québec annonced the results of their competition for 2019-2020.
Two LEPSIS lab members have stood out by obtaining research grants :
- Patrick Voyer, graduate student under the direction of Prof. Véronneau, was awarded a scholarship by Fonds de recherche du Québec – Society and Culture. This competition will allow him to conduct his doctoral research project entitled “La réussite éducative chez les élèves de formation professionnelle” within LEPSIS.
- Marie-Hélène Véronneau, director of the lab, was rewarded a Career Fellowship by the Junior Research Fellowship Program of Fonds de recherche du Québec – Santé (FRQS) for the next four years by granting her support for her research program “Réussite éducative et santé mentale au passage à l’âge adulte : identifier les facteurs favorisant un bienêtre à long terme”. Already a junior researcher in the Junior 1 category since 2013, this is the second grant obtained by Prof. Véronneau as part of this excellence program, which aims to support high-caliber researchers to ensure the quality of health research in Quebec.
